The Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Federal University of Lafia on research collaborations, training and human resource development.
The MoU signed at the NBRRI Headquarters in Abuja, on the 6th of March, 2025 opened the doors of NBRRI to Fulafia students and staff for training on technical facilities, and the utilization of sophisticated research equipment available at NBRRI.
Addressing the delegate from Fulafia, the Director-General/ Chief Executive officer of NBRRI, Professor Samson Duna said that the Memorandum of Understanding between NBRRI and the varsity will enable student’s access to the institute’s facilities for training, upskilling of Fulafia staff, as well as construction of demonstration project within the university.
Prof. Duna also urged the university to create more avenues that can encourage students to carry out innovative research, adding that NBRRI will be willing to sponsor such researches that are within its mandate.
Prof. Samaila Idris, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Partnership Fulafia, in his address commended the DG on his receptiveness to ideas geared towards development, which paved the Way for the MoU.
Continuing, Prof. Samaila thanked the DG for the opportunity given to his university and hopes that the collaboration will be of utmost benefit to the university and its students. https://web.facebook.com/#
